We're going from the crime scene to the ER, friends! I am beyond excited to have joined the Harlequin Books/Mills & Boon Medical Romance family. Since taking care of my own family members over the years, I do consider myself a legitimate part of the medical community (lol). So this wonderful opportunity feels like a natural progression.
The first novel in my two-book deal, tentatively titled, LOVE IN THE ER, tells the story of Eva Gordon and Clark Malone. The pair met during medical school, and after spending a steamy night together, one of them is left feeling hopeful for more while the other is too focused on the future for a relationship. Years later, when they reconnect inside a Las Vegas ER, will there be a second chance for a happily ever after?
Once my editor made the big announcement via Twitter, I received so much love from family, friends, fellow authors and the Medical Romance team. That warm welcome made my day. Sheila Hodgson, a Senior Editor with Harlequin Medical, posted this tweet:
