BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I've Signed A Book Deal With Harlequin/HarperCollins Publishers!

Hello friends! I am so excited to announce that I've signed a book deal with Harlequin/HarperCollins Publishers!

Those who know me are well aware of my (unhealthy lol?) obsession with true crime. Combine that will my love of romance, and you've got yourself a woman who's thrilled with the project I'm working on for Harlequin Intrigue. Keep reading to learn more about it as well as the voice I'm planning to bring to the romance industry's leading publishing powerhouse!

First off, let me start by saying that writing for Harlequin has always been a dream of mine. I've been an avid reader for years and grew up devouring my mother's romance novels, many of which were published by Harlequin. Once I began writing romance, working with them was a definitive goal.

But these days, as the saying goes, this is not your mother's Harlequin. The brand has expanded its various lines over the years and produces a vast range of women's fiction, from historical to contemporary, wholesome to steamy.

One of Harlequin's goals is to publish diverse and inclusive voices that represent its millions of readers. This effort is extremely important to me as I am a proud #OwnVoices author who's looking forward to bringing my unique stories to the brand.

Now, on to my book!

The official title is COLD CASE, TRUE CRIME, and it will be published under Harlequin Intrigue. Intrigue's tagline is:

"Dive into action-packed stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Solve the crime and deliver justice at all costs."

I can't give away too many details on the novel just yet as I'm still developing the final plotline. But the story takes place in a small town located in Illinois and involves a true crime blogger, a cold case mystery, deadly street drugs, corrupt cops, a drug cartel, and plenty of twists and turns!

Of course there's a love story brewing underneath the surface of the murder mystery, with a beautiful, inquisitive true crime blogger and handsome, determined detective coming together to crack a case. 

COLD CASE, TRUE CRIME is still a work in progress as I just turned the final edits in to my editor. The book is scheduled to be released in June 2021. I'll keep you posted as things continue to come together. In the meantime, stay tuned for the official tagline, blurb, cover reveal and more!
