Hey friends! Do you enjoy Dear Reader letters? My author friends and I always grapple with whether or not we should include them in our books. Judging by the feedback I've received from readers, they are much appreciated. Whenever I'm starting or ending a series, I love sharing a few tidbits on what inspired the story, the type of research that went into it, etc. Now that I've stepped into the world of medical romance, I felt compelled to include a Dear Reader in ER DOC'S LAS VEGAS REUNION just to give a little insight into how the book came to fruition. Do you believe in second chances? This trope is one of my favorites to write, and I truly enjoyed exploring the possibility of Clark and Eva finding their happily ever after the second time around in ER Doc’s Las Vegas Reunion.
My hero and heroine have a strong foundation as they were close friends during medical school. But once that bond was broken, neither of them thought they’d find their way back to one another. Then fate intervenes, and Clark and Eva are forced to work together under strained circumstances, all while fighting their undeniable chemistry. Their rocky past leaves them both afraid to explore something more. But as feelings resurface, truth bombs are dropped and emotions come to a head, forcing them to revisit mistakes once made in order to determine where they should go from here.
Clark and Eva’s story is a reminder that true love, no matter how complicated, always prevails. This novel was such a joy to write. I hope you enjoy reading these characters’ journey to happiness!
