AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT/CONTEMPORARY FICTION BOOK RELEASE: Barbara Combs Williams

Today I am welcoming author, poet, illustrator and self-proclaimed Georgia peach Barbara Combs Williams to my blog, who’s here to share the deets on her latest release, THE COLOR OF YOUR TEARS.

Leading the charge in Barbara’s novel is Jackie Mattock, an intriguing heroine who’s battling a plethora of familial and personal adversities, all while anxiously anticipating her son’s upcoming wedding. During her tumultuous journey, she struggles to find the strength to face her difficult past, all while remaining sane in the present. It is when she finally decides to stop living for everyone else and start nurturing her own well-being that Jackie begins to see a brighter, more formidable future for herself.

But Jackie’s troubles are far from over as the Mattock family’s story continues in the sequel to THE COLOR OF YOUR TEARS, titled CHRYSTAL CLEAR. This follow-up explores the life and disturbing past of Jackie’s daughter, Chrystal Mattock.
