Deputy Sheriff Sara Berman is relieved after finally apprehending Vermont's notorious Red River Serial Killer. During the arrest, she's left injured and takes time off to recuperate. An invitation to the grand reopening of the Buckner Inn, however, is enough to put her hiatus on pause. Sara eagerly accepts, even inviting Sergeant Rob Goodall, her crush since joining the force, as her plus one. After he says yes, she's left even more excited to get out and finally start enjoying the holiday season.
But when Rob's trip to the inn is delayed, she is forced to travel there alone. Once Sara arrives, she soon realizes that the luxurious resort isn't quite what it seems...
